What is an alert?

An alert is a warning that is triggered by a monitor as a result of KPI Status changes.

In the example provided below, an alert popup displays technical information regarding the monitor, in addition to the business definition of the location where the status has changed.

Display alerts

Depending on how your project is set up, the list of alerts is available via:

• the alert widget from the list of widgets.
• a bell icon in the Header Bar of the dashboard. The number shown immediately to the right of the icon indicates the number of alerts.
