Choose a report category according to the required analysis and date settings. The Reports menu provides Risk, VaR, PNL, and Live entry points where available.

Which category matches the task?

Risk, VaR, and P&L launchers use saved setups to define calculations. Live opens configured schedules for repeatedly run risk reports. The VaR lookback identifies historical observations used for analysis. The P&L reporting period identifies the interval being examined. P&L supports predefined periods and Custom dates.

How are Live reports different?

Live reports run during configured hours, with a configured pause between runs. The Live Schedule lists available reports and their execution details. Check Status and Last Completed to assess the available results. The viewer action changes between View Live and View Last Completed according to the schedule window. The View Live label alone does not confirm a successful latest run. Supported live viewers refresh when report-update notifications arrive. The configured schedule and successful calculations determine when new results become available. The Risk launcher’s Live Data option is a separate calculation setting. Selecting Live Data does not create a Live Schedule entry.

Why do available reports differ?

Report definitions and account access determine the available report names, portfolios, measures, and columns. Risk and P&L reports can therefore contain different measures within the same category. Live entries also depend on the organization’s configuration and access to the required portfolios and market data. For missing report choices or an empty Live schedule, contact the administrator or configured support contact.

Where should a report be launched?

Use How to launch a risk report for the Risk launcher procedure. That procedure covers Simple date setup with Live Data disabled. The separate Reports → History and Reports → Schedule entries manage report activity. History and Schedule are separate from the Risk, VaR, P&L, and Live calculation categories.
