POST
Check whether a set of trades would book, without booking any of them.

Authorizations

Authorization
string
header
required

OAuth2 access-token requested from AWS Cognito and provided as a Auth Bearer header

Body

JSON request with a non-empty Positions list and a PortfolioType available to the authenticated caller.

Asks whether a set of candidate trades would book, without booking any of them. Positions are translated into historical import columns by the booking adapter. Terms that cannot be represented are rejected before parsing.

$type
enum<string>
required
Available options:
Derivitec.Web.Core.TradeBooking.ApiValidateTradesRequest, Derivitec.Web.Core
portfolio_type
enum<string> | null

Portfolio category used to resolve the requested portfolio. It may be omitted when the portfolio name resolves unambiguously.

Available options:
derivitec,
enfusion,
orchestrade,
liquidity_book,
maia,
fund_studio,
not_set
positions
object[] | null

The candidate trades to check. Unsupported booking terms reject validation of the batch. Omitted lookback fixing means inactive; an explicitly empty FX basket is rejected instead of reusing the legacy pair list; null commodity-future settlement derives from the selected market.

Response

Returns one parse result per contract type, carrying any error or warning that would stop the trades booking.

What parsing the candidate trades produced, including any error or warning that would stop them booking.

$type
enum<string>
required
Available options:
Derivitec.Web.Core.TradeBooking.ApiValidateTradesResponse, Derivitec.Web.Core
is_success
boolean

Whether the operation completed successfully. The default is true; error outcomes set it to false.

Example:

true

error_messages
string[] | null

Messages explaining operation-level failures. The collection is empty by default.

parsed_trades
object[] | null

One parse result per contract type in the request rather than per position, because trades are grouped by type before parsing. Results cannot be matched to positions by index.
