Configuration Overview

Since ActivePivot is a Java API, there is not limit to its extension and configuration capabilities. However, we do provide many configuration options that allow changing the behaviour of ActivePivot, either without the need to code (for example properties), or with minimal coding effort (for example custom context values).

Some of the configuration for ActivePivot is stored in the ContentServer, which is a mandatory component that can be hosted on the same or a different server than the ActivePivot server.
