ActiveViam may provide pre-production releases (such as alpha, milestone, beta, or RC) as previews of an upcoming production (GA) release. Generally, the respective lead times before GA are:
  • Milestone: 3 months or more
  • Beta: 2 months or more
  • RC: 1 month or more
Pre-production releases are not officially supported or maintained, and they may not be used as production software.
Customers willing to test a pre-production release must do so and provide feedback before the date stated in the respective release notes, through the usual Jira channels. Pre-production releases are generally delivered with minimal documentation: release notes, migration notes, and some reference materials. Full documentation is only finalized for the GA.
