# Configuration Properties

Where appropriate, properties are configured with default values. These defaults can be overridden by adding the property to an `application.yaml` file and setting the new value. With appropriate IDE settings you can benefit from auto-completion and inline documentation when setting these properties in an `application.yaml` or `application.properties` file.
