# DEE output columns

> Overview of the DEE output column types configurable in the `columns` element of a DEE order, spanning level and measure based columns, static values, and extraction procedure derived values.

The `columns` element describes how output columns will be populated.

The output file's columns map to one of the following types:

* Level ([levelOutputColumn](./levelOutputColumn))
* Lowest Level ([lowestLevelOutputColumn](./lowestLevelOutputColumn))
* Field ([fieldOutputColumn](./fieldOutputColumn))
* Measure ([measureOutputColumn](./measureOutputColumn))
* Static value ([echoOutputColumn](./echoOutputColumn))
* Value which requires some logic ([extractProcValueOutputColumn](./extractProcValueOutputColumn))
