# How to review report schedules

> Schedule inspection through Risk Portal Report Schedule, with time-zone checks and a Re-Trigger Run procedure for eligible Risk attempts using their recorded settings without editing the recurring schedule

Applies to **Reports** → **Schedule** in Risk Portal.
The re-trigger procedure below covers **Risk** reports.

**Report Schedule** shows accessible active schedules and recent run attempts.
The screen also provides **Re-Trigger Run** for eligible recent rows.

## What is required before reviewing schedules?

* Access to the required report, portfolio, and market-data environments.
* A configured schedule, or a recent accessible run to inspect.

Use [Report types](../report-types) for the separate **Reports** → **Live** workflow.

## How to inspect a schedule

1. Select **Reports** in the sidebar.
2. Select **Schedule**. The **Report Schedule** page opens.
3. Select **Risk**, **VaR**, or **PNL**.
4. Locate the required **Portfolio Name** and **Report Name** in **Report Run Schedule**.
5. Check **Market Data Environments** and **User** against the intended setup.
6. Read **Scheduled Time** and its displayed time-zone label.
7. Read **Next Scheduled Run** and its displayed time-zone label.

Verify the timing using both zone labels.
**Scheduled Time** uses the configured schedule zone.
**Next Scheduled Run** is displayed in the browser's local zone.

**Exports to FTP** indicates configured export behavior, not confirmation that a file was delivered.
For VaR, **View** under **Export Configurations** opens the configured confidence, weighting, and row-filter details where available.
Select **Close** after reviewing that dialog.

## How to check recent run attempts

1. Locate the required entry in **Recently Run Scheduled Reports**.
2. Check its **Status**, report details, and recorded dates.
3. Check **Completed Time**, where available.
4. Select that panel's refresh icon when an updated list is needed.

The recent panel covers accessible run records created within the last five days.
It can include runs started outside a schedule.
Its refresh control updates recent attempts; revisit the page to reload the upper schedule list.

Use [Report history](./report-history) to find and open completed results.

## How to re-trigger a Risk run

<Warning>
Re-triggering starts another calculation and can repeat configured exports.
Review the recorded dates and settings before selecting the action.
</Warning>

1. Select the **Risk** tab.
2. Locate the intended entry in **Recently Run Scheduled Reports**.
3. Check **Portfolio Name** and **Report Name**.
4. Check **Portfolio Date**, **Pricing Date**, and **Market Date**.
5. Check **Live Data** and **Market Data Environments**.
6. Select **Re-Trigger Run** once.

The button is disabled while the row is running.
An accepted request shows a running state and **Running...** under **Completed Time**.
Acceptance confirms submission, not completed results.

Wait for processing and refresh the recent-run panel as needed.
A green check indicates success; an orange triangle indicates completion with warnings or errors.
A red failure icon indicates a failed attempt.
Check any available status details before locating completed results in [Report history](./report-history).

The re-trigger uses the selected Risk run's recorded dates and settings.
It does not change the recurring schedule or advance the run to the next recurrence.

## What can prevent a re-trigger?

| Observation | Next step |
| - | - |
| The row is already running. | Wait for processing before considering another attempt. |
| The retry limit is exceeded or the run cannot be found. | Refer the displayed message and run details to the configured support contact. |
| Historical dates conflict with real-time market data. | Review the recorded market date and live-data setting with the configured support contact. |
| Submission or processing fails. | Read the reported error before attempting another calculation. |

## How can a schedule be changed?

Contact the configured support contact to add, change, or stop a schedule.
This screen provides schedule inspection and run re-triggering; it has no schedule-editing form.
