# How to change a report view

> Report presentation tasks in Risk Portal, with focused guides for selecting columns, grouping rows, filtering and sorting results, and saving a reusable view without changing underlying positions.

A report view controls the presentation of available results.
Open the required report before choosing the relevant editing task.

## What requires a separate workflow?

Use [Update data](./update-data) for changes to positions or market-data setup.
Use [Share a report view](./login-and-start/share-reports) to make a saved presentation available to another account.
View sharing does not grant access to the underlying report data.
