# Add market data provider access.

> Grants an eligible other user access to a provider available to an authorised administrator. Self-targeting
is rejected. A target with the `View` user type can receive only `View` provider access. The
change completes before the response; a request with a different access level is not a documented
upgrade-or-downgrade contract.
