Configuration Overview

Since ActivePivot is a Java API, there is no limit to its extension and configuration capabilities. However, we do provide many configuration options that allow changing the behavior of ActivePivot, either without the need to code (for example properties), or with minimal coding effort (for example custom context values).

Some configurations for ActivePivot are stored in the ContentServer, which is a mandatory component that can be hosted on the same or a different server than the ActivePivot server.
