# Configuration properties

> Reference for Atoti Sign-Off Spring Boot configuration properties, covering how to override defaults in application.yml and access auto-completion in supported IDEs.

Where appropriate, properties are configured with default values. These defaults can be overridden by adding the property to the [application.yml](./property-files/application-yml) file and setting the new value. With appropriate IDE settings you can benefit from auto-completion and inline documentation when setting these properties in an `application.yml` or `application.properties` file.
