# Create tasks

> How to create sign-off task definitions in Atoti Sign-Off, either by filling in a form in the UI or by uploading task definitions from a CSV file in bulk.

Creating a new task starts with setting up the business details of your task, such as name, category, workflow type. This is the **task definition**. Atoti Sign-Off then creates a daily task for each day loaded into the cube in the range specified in your task definition.

There are two ways you can create new task definitions: using the **Task Configuration** screen, or uploading tasks in bulk in a CSV file. This section walks you through both methods.
