# Set up a custom disclaimer

Atoti Intelligence displays a disclaimer in the UI to inform users when an LLM is involved in a response.

## Why customize the disclaimer?

LLMs can make mistakes. Depending on an organization's compliance requirements, a custom disclaimer may be necessary to communicate the appropriate wording to users. If you do not set one, Atoti Intelligence shows a built-in default message.
